Story of van basten
Van Basten was born on October 31, 1964 in Utrecht. When he was six, he started playing in Edo, a team. A year later, UVV went to Utrecht. After nine years spent here, another Utrecht team played in USV Elinkwijk.

Ajax signed a contract with Van Basten during the 1981-82 season. He went to his first match with Ajax in April 1982, and scored his first goal in the match where they defeated NEC 5-0.

Van Basten was a Dutch national team coach between 2004-2008. In the 2008-09 season, he was appointed to the head of Ajax. In 2012, another Dutch club took over SC Heerenven.He left in 2014.Now he is the assistant coach of the Dutch national team.
